In breve: le app Snello non raccolgono dati personali. Tutta l'analisi avviene sul tuo Mac o sul tuo iPhone. Snello non ha account, analytics, pubblicità né un server che riceve i tuoi file, i loro nomi o i loro percorsi.

Le app (Mac e iPhone)

• Analisi in locale. Snello legge dimensioni, date e nomi dei file, delle foto e dei contatti solo sul dispositivo, per mostrarti cosa occupa spazio.
• Permessi. Su Mac, l'Accesso completo al disco serve a misurare tutto il disco. Su iPhone, Foto e Contatti servono a trovare doppioni, foto simili e video pesanti. Nulla di tutto questo lascia il dispositivo.
• Cosa resta sul dispositivo. Le impostazioni, la pila, la cronologia delle pulizie e i backup dei contatti (in formato vCard, nella cartella dell'app) restano sul dispositivo. Se cancelli l'app, li cancelli anche tu.
• Nessuna cancellazione nascosta. Su Mac i file vanno nel Cestino; su iPhone le foto vanno in "Eliminati di recente" e iOS chiede conferma. Prima di unire dei contatti, Snello salva un backup.

Assistente AI (Mac, facoltativo)

Snello può collegarsi a un assistente AI che usi già, come Claude o Codex. È spento finché non lo accendi tu. Quando è acceso, l'assistente legge i suggerimenti di Snello, compresi nomi e percorsi dei file, e li elabora secondo l'informativa privacy del suo fornitore (per esempio Anthropic o OpenAI). Snello non invia nulla a nessuno: i dati passano solo dall'app AI che hai installato e dal tuo account.

Acquisti su iPhone (App Store)

Snello Pro e le mance su iPhone si pagano con Apple. Il pagamento lo gestisce Apple, secondo la sua informativa. Snello riceve solo la conferma che l'acquisto esiste, non il tuo nome né i tuoi dati di pagamento.

Acquisti su Mac (Stripe)

Su Mac, Snello Pro e le mance si pagano con Stripe. Stripe raccoglie i dati necessari al pagamento (email, dati della carta, paese per l'IVA, nome se richiesto) e li tratta anche come titolare autonomo per antifrode e obblighi di legge. Io ricevo da Stripe i dati della transazione per gestire assistenza, rimborsi e obblighi fiscali.

• Base giuridica: esecuzione del contratto (art. 6.1.b GDPR) e obblighi di legge fiscali (art. 6.1.c).
• Conservazione: i dati delle transazioni per il tempo richiesto dalla legge fiscale (in Italia 10 anni).
• Chiave di licenza: contiene solo l'identificativo dell'acquisto Stripe e la data. Nessun nome, nessuna email. L'app la verifica offline e non contatta mai un server.
• Server delle licenze: la pagina che mostra la chiave dopo il pagamento gira su Cloudflare Workers e non salva nulla. Cloudflare può tenere log tecnici (come l'indirizzo IP) per sicurezza, secondo la sua informativa.
• Recupero della chiave: se chiedi di riavere la chiave, l'email che scrivi serve solo a cercare il tuo acquisto in Stripe e a mandarti lì il link della chiave, tramite il servizio email Resend. Non viene salvata; al massimo resta per 10 minuti un'impronta cifrata dell'indirizzo, per evitare invii ripetuti.

Il sito non usa cookie, né strumenti di analisi o pubblicità, e non carica risorse da altri siti. Ricorda solo la lingua che scegli, nel tuo browser (localStorage). Il sito è ospitato su Cloudflare Pages: Cloudflare tratta come responsabile log tecnici, come l'indirizzo IP, per far funzionare e proteggere il servizio. Le statistiche di Cloudflare sono spente.

Trasferimenti fuori dall'UE

Stripe, Cloudflare e Resend possono trattare dati negli Stati Uniti, con le garanzie previste dal GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework o clausole contrattuali standard).

In short: the Snello apps collect no personal data. All analysis happens on your Mac or iPhone. Snello has no account, no analytics, no ads, and no server that receives your files, their names or their paths.

Who is responsible

The apps (Mac and iPhone)

• On-device analysis. Snello reads sizes, dates and names of files, photos and contacts only on the device, to show you what takes up space.
• Permissions. On the Mac, Full Disk Access lets Snello measure the whole disk. On iPhone, Photos and Contacts let it find duplicates, similar shots and large videos. None of this leaves the device.
• What stays on the device. Settings, the pile, the cleanup history and contact backups (vCard files in the app's folder). Deleting the app deletes them too.
• No hidden deletion. On the Mac files go to the Trash; on iPhone photos go to Recently Deleted and iOS asks first. Before merging contacts, Snello saves a backup.

AI assistant (Mac, optional)

Snello can connect to an AI assistant you already use, such as Claude or Codex. It is off until you turn it on. When it is on, the assistant reads Snello's suggestions, including file names and paths, and processes them under its provider's privacy policy (for example Anthropic or OpenAI). Snello itself sends nothing: data only goes through the AI app you installed and your account.

Purchases on iPhone (App Store)

Snello Pro and tips on iPhone are paid through Apple, under Apple's privacy policy. Snello only learns that the purchase exists, never your name or payment details.

Purchases on the Mac (Stripe)

On the Mac, Snello Pro and tips are paid through Stripe. Stripe collects what the payment needs (email, card details, country for VAT, name if asked) and also processes it as an independent controller for fraud prevention and legal duties. I receive the transaction details from Stripe for support, refunds and tax duties.

• Legal basis: performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• Retention: transaction records for as long as tax law requires (10 years in Italy).
• License key: holds only the Stripe purchase id and a date. No name, no email. The app checks it offline and never calls a server.
• License server: the page that shows your key after payment runs on Cloudflare Workers and stores nothing. Cloudflare may keep technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security, under its own policy.
• Key recovery: if you ask for your key again, the email you type is used only to find your purchase in Stripe and send the key link to it, through the email service Resend. It is not stored; at most a hashed fingerprint of the address is kept for 10 minutes to prevent repeated sends.

This website

The site uses no cookies, analytics or ads, and loads nothing from other sites. It only remembers your language choice in your browser (localStorage). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages: Cloudflare processes technical logs, such as IP addresses, as a processor to run and protect the service. Cloudflare's analytics are off.

Transfers outside the EU

Stripe, Cloudflare and Resend may process data in the United States, with GDPR safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing (Art. 15-22 GDPR) at [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante).
